In memory of our Gido

Gido from the kennel "Von der Norisschanze" (October 7, 1963 - February 5, 1974). On June 8, 1965, at the request of the breeder, Mr. Willy Wintzheimer, we took over Gido von d. Norisschanze because he was about to be killed by his owner. The reason for this: Gido had been raised incorrectly and badly, and had therefore become a fear-biter. Gido was very suspicious, and it took a long time before he trusted us. It took a lot of patience and kindness and even more love to achieve this. Our Gido was well known at many exhibitions at home and abroad. He was the only Spitz in our national group, and for many years the most beautiful white Spitz in the Federal Republic. For almost 9 years Gido was our friend, our pride and our protection.

If it was true that the white Spitz was the king among the Spitzes, then our Gido was a king. An evil person and animal enemy brought this healthy and strong dog to an untimely end by poisoning him. Our vet fought for Gido's survival for 5 days, but all his skills no longer helped.
